Fast Forward Count: 1 (I think)
Puck: That Rachel chick makes me want to light myself on fire, but she can sing.
Words of wisdom, Puck, words of wisdom. Everything else you say is pretty horrifying though.
Trying to bring drop-out thirty-something Kristin Chenoweth back to boost the club? Oh Will, I'm not sure conniving is a good look for you. You're the nice guy that wants to be liked. Sneakiness and unethical rule-bending is probably not your strength. If it gets us drunken shenanigans with Kristin Chenoweth, however, I guess it's cool.
I am not a fan of Will using Emma's interest in him to use her position as the school's guidance counselor to manipulate Finn into luring Rachel back to Glee. Crawly feeling, anyone?
Wow. When Finn decides to layer on the charm, he does an appealingly over-the-top good job of it. At least he has the grace to look guilty and unsure about his actions, though not so much so that he decides to back the fuck off and not be a twerp.
Will is still using his influence over Emma for his own selfish ends. Argh!
Hi Kristin. Oh my, this will be fun, won't it?
Yes, it turns out it will. Seeing her ″win over″ the Glee club is both terrifying and hilarious. And why was she smuggling the cake from the kid's party? Candles and all?
Hmmm. It seems to me like we're getting a lot of gratuitous Puck-half-naked shots. This is not a complaint, mind you. Just an observation. And he's supposed to be in high school? We did not have any of him in my high school, that's for damn sure.
Oh my god. Is Kurt hungover? AHAHAHAHAhahahaha! I know I shouldn't laugh. I shouldn't. But... *snicker* Also? Emma's ″He looks like an eleven year old milkmaid″ comment is fantastically accurate.
Argh. Finn is pissing me off so much.
Kurt: ″Maybe Quinn is lactose intolerant.″
Artie: ″That doesn't explain all the crying.″
Oh please, like we aren't conditioned by too many soap operas, rom coms, and nighttime ″dramas″ to immediately jump to the conclusion of pregnancy at every little potential hint.
Puck: ″Are you all that stupid? Seriously.″ Word, Puckster.
Okay, so Rachel is completely entitled to her anger and disappointment and betrayal and all, and the slap was rather satisfying, but still, her claiming that Finn kissed her still annoys me. She could make the claim that he manipulated her into doing it, sure, but he isn't the one who jumped into her arms there. Anyways. Whatever, doesn't matter. His day of reckoning came faster than I thought it would.
Emma is trying to clue you in here, Will. Please listen to her.
How is Carrie Underwood's ″Last Name″ on the approved song list? And why hello there, Artie. You've got quite the view at the end of that little number, don't you?
April's quick turnaround and agreement with Will about her stealing the limelight, as well as her promises to sober up... I dunno. I wonder if we're supposed to believe her, or if we're meant to question that commitment, as I find myself doing.
Rachel's speech about preferring to be the Glee club's friend more than wanting to be a star was sweet and moving, but I question how much a friend to her (and she to them) they are. They don't really act all that friendly.
One question I have: Why do they all just accept the fact of Rachel's amazingness? I mean, she is great, but so are many of the other Glee club members we've heard from already.
